Funding options
If you invest in alarm and security technology, the German state can cover part of the costs. We show you the routes currently available: honest, clear and with direct links to the official bodies.
A low-interest promotional loan of up to €50,000 per residential unit, explicitly including burglary protection measures such as alarm and intrusion detection systems. Important: the application is made through your bank and must be submitted before work begins; installation must be carried out by a specialist company.
Often the simplest route: 20% of labour costs (excluding materials) can be deducted directly from your income tax, up to €1,200 per year. Requirements: an invoice with labour and material costs listed separately, paid by bank transfer. That is exactly the kind of invoice you receive from us.
Individual federal states and municipalities run their own burglary-protection grants, and conditions change frequently. In Schleswig-Holstein, the police crime-prevention advisory centres are worth a visit: they tell you free of charge which measures make sense and which regional funding pots are currently open.
